After a Samsung NX 30 I bought this lens was a must for me as a landscape photographer. I was impressed 10-20mm which I use on the size compared to my Tamron on my Sony DSLR. The Samsung is not much larger than the kit lens and has only a filter diameter of 58mm. Compared with Tamron and Sigma have these 72mm diameter.
However, the lenses from Sigma and Tamron work quality. That does not mean that the Samsung was poorly finished. It makes a cheap impression. This is me, however, could not care less because at me the picture quality is decisive and not the design of a lens. I particularly appreciate the features for backlit subjects at this objective. I photograph very often at sunset or sunrises. It is not vulnerable to the so-called sunspots that everyone knows and which often occur with other lenses and are difficult to avoid. Overall, I am very satisfied with the picture quality of Samsung. Compared with the Tamron 10-24mm not worse. Also the auto focus reacts sufficiently quickly and accurately. Thanks to the practical i-Function parameters can then be called as shutter speed and aperture directly on the lens. An image stabilizer, it has not, I do not need because I shoot mostly with a monopod. Even without a tripod, the camera shake is relatively low at this focal length range. Annoying that Samsung has settled no lens case in this price range. A lens hood is but this included.
I appreciate the quality of the cameras like NX20, NX30 and the lenses from Samsung very.
