I bought this on Amazon Deutschland zoom because there was an interesting difference in price with Amazon France and I am delighted by this objective: my prejudices against zooms are gone when I could compare this with a constant aperture zoom F: 4 with the "art" objectives Sigma with focal 19mm, 30 mm and 60 mm, all opening to f: 2.8; I took several photos on the same terms, including Flash and honestly, even at 19 mm F: 4 compared to Sigma "Art" in the same focal length f: 4 also, no way to see a decisive difference for fixed focal length Sigma in terms of sharpness, I took pictures of postcards placed a few meters away to see if we could read the characters, and Sigma has not issued more than stitched pictures Sony was in theory a disadvantage to this focal length. From 30 mm to 105 mm, the dive center is really impressive and 60 mm, it is impossible to see a difference between this dive zoom and the Sigma 60 mm opening to F: 2.8, considered at rightly as a lens having a great dive! bokeh is "creamy" at will on long lenses. So, apart from that it is not "ultra" light opening "only" f: 4, results are really excellent. Kudos to Sony for proposing a zoom of such a high quality, with an impressive design, a "huge" front lens very "pro" and especially optical quality at the top. No observable distortion JPEG, so I do not see the problem of those who criticize the distortion, since RAW, she corrects "automatically" via Lighroom. I sent 3 Sigma objectives, not seeing any use and I bought on eBay a good old Minolta MC Rokkor 50mm f: 1.4. With a simple adapter ring 12, can be equipped with a fixed focal fabulous for taking portraits complement this excellent zoom.
