I have attached the bracket to a solid brick wall.
Who wants to do that too, which should necessarily get advance four ordinary plugs. Do not use the supplied dowels. Not even think about it you should!
Although I had previously read the reviews and the Gemaule over anchors, but saw it from so stable ...
From a certain screw depth (only if such a screw is to spread the anchor holding) started three of four plugs to diligently rotate. - Of course, in both directions; So even when you try to get the screws out. Twenty minutes and four ordinary anchors later I was even finished with the laudatory appraisal of my valor and the saving will of the bracket manufacturer. On that occasion, however, to me one of the possible five stars has been lost for the review. Punishment must be!
The second drawback: The TV / monitor is crooked! - Of course, not in the position in which it has brought him "into the water", but (simply put) in all other positions. The device must be adjusted exactly easy. The three screws for monitor mounting (one for hanging the unit, two to fix) allow easy alignment to the spirit level. Is set once the device (in this position) always straight.
Who, however, bought the swiveling and extendable bracket to exactly (pivot and / or off) also has to do permanently, has a problem. In either direction, the device stays it then. At least it does for me and still at least one reviewer. I do not mind, since I only needed this holder to equalize a ledge. I once adjusted, straightened the device and so it remains now. Therefore, the effect does not hit me and I prefer it not too ZIP code.
I have not yet figured out, whereby the effect occurs. The holder is stable and I can never find a match, causing the tilting could come about. It tilts not much, but with a 40 "TV and a fall, two degrees lopsided on. The larger the size, the easier you can see that.
Another tip for fixing the rail behind the TV / Monitor: The track can be a few centimeters to the left or right. For me it was necessary to get the connector panel for SAT, HDMI, VGA, USB, SCART, etc. freely.
This has then been enough accurate. Everything was great.
When drilling holes in the wall you have of course to compensate for these few centimeters offset! Otherwise the device does not depend where you want it to. ;-)
That's now with criticism. Bottom line, a great support!
- Simple drilling because this template
- Bombenfest on the wall (only plugs replaced, screws original)
- Very good adjustment in all axes: rotate, tilt, swivel, undress
- Spacers for mounting the TV / monitor to the mounting rail -> If you're planning a cable "cross" is (like mine)
- Simple and logical construction, also thanks to simple instructions (only the rotation of the monitor I have not found there)
- Massive construction, makes a good impression
If I come not lost when replacing the dowels the fifth star would ...
