Slade were probably the toughest representatives of 70s teen bands, some say that they are responsible for the word "Rock" in the term "glam rock". Unlike groups such as Sweet & Slade Bay City Rollers have their songs practically written from the outset entirely itself, of "test-tube combo" so no trace. Of the trimmed on nice colleagues Slade took off not only by the tougher line, but also by knowingly providing false orthography of their song titles ("Look Wot You Dun", "Cum On Feel The Noize" etc.). And the noise you can really feel at home here; the sound I find no means bad, but about to be hi-fi freaks probably always arguing. Besides "In For A Penny" all the hits are available on this CD, which is a pretty good compilation, what you can say for example by any of the countless sampler of Sweet.
