Rarely have I heard such music. Especially for a debut album, it's amazing what present Dan Smith and the other of Bastille since. High-quality, very complex, texts and themes that the 0815 scheme of love, heartbreak, known Lebensweisheiten & Co vary (eg Icarus, What would you do) sometimes. The songs work on several levels, which makes the music very interesting. The melodies are very catchy, the second great detail at first glance, so I ranwagte even to my two "ausgelutschten" old acquaintance. Also, my initial doubts have vanished into thin air - I hear the songs up and down and there are really few that I do not hear every day. Except Things We Lost, are for me These Streets, Icarus, Bad Blood, Overjoyed, Oblivion, Flaws and Get Home all songs that go to the heart and in the (dance) legs.
I also recommend buying the highly DELUXE album, since you here 13 (!) More largely potentially gets favorite song songs. If only because the two very violent profound songs "Weight of Livin Part I", "What would you do". But also because of the successful and refreshing Cover-mashup "of the Night" (from Rhythm Is A Dancer & Rhythm of the night, two songs that have a few years under his belt and as old as I - and I precisely for this reason can not really hear ^^). Even the arrangement of the songs and the transitions are often very appropriate ...
So if you're still wondering about - I've been buying this enriching music never looked back :)
