Love X-E1 (and X-E2) users, for those of you with the thoughts, the X-T1 play to create here my reasons why I (a landscape photographer) keep my X-E1 and the X-T1 after the holidays again back chic. 1) The keys are not raised almost all, ie they are in the housing (sunk for the most part) and can therefore be -nicht- good use. For example, the four-way cross for me is a joke compared to X-E1. Why that is not really mentioned in the -deutlich- many tests I do not understand. 2) The locking of the command dials (small push button in the middle) for exposure time (adjustment away from A) as well as the ISO sensitivity (at each adjustment) I feel a hindrance. Anyone who has ever at zero degrees Celsius and made recordings among who knows how tricky something then. Generally I would say that's hardly possible to use with gloves. Note: I have never accidentally Arretierungslose the X-E1 adjusted dial for the exposure time in 20 months and approximately 6,000 shots. 3) The wheel of the exposure compensation is now so stiff that you have to turn it with your thumb and forefinger. Thus it is hardly useful to correct while using the EVF. That for me it is better to have a slight adjustment and must stop it (what you always should) always be careful as the setting is. 4) The SD card can now be found right in the handle, which is positive ansich but the lid wobbles up and down (has about 0.5 mm play) and creaks a bit. "Low-quality cheap plastic solution" is an apt description. 5) The handle (still) too small, ie who has the HG-XE1 handle which makes a step back and have to buy again a. 6) The electronic viewfinder (EVF) rustles in low light much more than that of the X-E1 (which may be due to its "vastness"). Does it bother me anyway and it does not fit to the praises of him. 7) In order to use the EVF fully, ie to see all the corners, you have to tilt his head already very strong. In the X-E1 nose the head position is, however, no problem, much more pleasant.
A statement of a Fujifilm responsible (for GES. X-series?) Was about "... We wanted to build a little less ergonomic camera ...". My conclusion about this: less is significantly less here!
Of course there are positive aspects to the -viele- X-T1, which you will find in the various tests as well as in other reviews. If you, for example, the fast autofocus and the WiFi capabilities as a nature photographer are matter then use these positive properties just everything ... nothing (the weather resistance, I would of course very welcome to the X-E1).
Two stars means "like -mir- not" and just as you should it please understand because that the X-T1 also great pictures makes the X-E1 Needless hopefully not to mention.
Addendum 2014-12-26 I regret only now read many other X-T1 owners the same or similar ergonomics problems. So I have to say that I would have been better earlier informed here than in several photo test sites on the web (the largest heard of Amazon).
