Valentine is back!
First Clary can not do anything with this name, but when her mother and demons, vampires and werewolves disappear suddenly inhabit their lives, gets this name is becoming increasingly important for them. Looking for the "Mortal Cup", a chalice, can be created with the new Shadow Hunter, to Clary love not only in the Shadowhunter Jace, but covers more and more terrifying secrets. ASSESSMENT: But a little incentive to read must remain anyway. I love the story of "City of Bones" and they have swallowed up within a few days. The characters, especially Clary were sympathetic to me right away. She takes it surprisingly well on, to be suddenly surrounded by vampires and werewolves, is brave and empathetic. She is a great danger in spite of the people she loves, making them a great protagonist. The book is exciting from beginning to end and makes you hungry for more. While the first book ends off lightly, but Valentine is not yet defeated and there is extensive material to continue.
Although there is less part of the book, I would like to say that there are numerous differences between film and book. And by that I mean, really a lot! Many sites were heavily modified or completely rewritten for the film. Which is a shame, of course, if one is hoping for a faithful adaptation. Nevertheless, also the film is worth seeing. It's like Harry Potter, you have to admit that there are numerous changes. The eternal comparisons with the Twilight films of Stefenie Meyer I can not understand. The story has nothing to do with Twilight. The love story between Clary and Jace not. But apparently, the critics a hero no more different from one Edward. For me, "City of Bones" more of Harry Potter. Things that you did not know that they are there. A fanatical villain who believes the bloodlines to have to keep pure and a kind of sect founded. The film is added, in the meantime exaggerated cheesy as it is so not reflected in the book - still a ridiculous comparison.
RECOMMENDATION: Both the film and the book of City of Bones are highly recommended. So also see the film and read the book - but does not expect the film version 1 to 1 coincides with the book, because then you will be sadly disappointed.
