Having already read two books by Douglas Kennedy: "The man who wanted to live his life" and "disarray Ned Allen" whose reading was pleasant but not exciting me, I do not expect more than this title. Well, I was VERY pleasantly surprised!
Difficult to let go of this romance Therefore, a "pad" that has haunted me late.
This book has all the ingredients that make a book a favorite for me: engaging characters who have a real personality, suspense, twists and turns, emotion, love, writing fair and well balanced between narration and dialogues and well transcribed historical context that gives a realistic touch and relief to all this.
I highly recommend this novel full of emotions!
