Basically, these boxes are super as transport boxes for small animals. I use them for transporting my mice and also in Socialization selbiger.
Because they are transparent, the veterinarian may at a date prior to the more detailed study well the general condition of the animal to assess (a hump falls during rausnehmen example garnicht more, since the animal stretches almost always obvious). For transporting ansich I grab the Faunarium however always again in a carton, allow the animals to dark and thus less stressful travel.
With approximately 20x30cm it fits well as a first step in a color mouse socialization. The animals can also easily stay one night there usually because it is high enough that they (without house) can not get the lid to gnaw him through. Caution is advised when there however mice that are prone to jump and cling to the lid and then gnaw. So in doubt, nor make to another cage.
At this concrete box:
The cover is totally unstable, labbert literally if one takes him. The flap is tiny and the locking mechanism defies description. You have to clamp the transparent flap with two plastic-Nöppies. However, the whole lid is so unstable that if one were to press firmly enough to close the door, (presumably) would break the cover.
I have so far opened the plastic Lappe unique and closed with the lid open with back pressure again.
Since then I always take off the complete cover, which at the labbe engined part, however nciht simply.
I still have a Faunarium the same size in the flat version, which I use for propagating mealworms. I mean that would be of Exo Terra.
This has a much more stable lid with a more than twice as large flap. This is closed by a slide mechanism. 1000 times more convenient and high-quality. Unfortunately, the lid fits despite almost the same size as only just nciht on the other box.
This box with the lid of the flat version would definitely get 5 star, but so is the whole thing a bit impractical.
