Then we went right at my Lupo over the ... - how could it be otherwise - is green! Color so schonmal a good grip, the shades will fit very well together. Then the "construction" began ... well, it's just always a fumbling with seat covers. It was at this here otherwise, but I have already experienced worse. For driver and passenger seats, it was pretty easy. Headrest down, backrest cover over it ... Unfortunately, the references have no cutouts for the lever for folding back the seats ... but that the others had not previously. You could clean cut which - which is even recommended in the manual - but I've saved me for now. One can operate more easily, which is the material quite resilient levers also by reference through. By foam layer slips all something bad about the seats ... but it is supposed not later slip, so you have to forcibly deal with it.
The covers for the seats it was a bit trickier. These are small hooks, which you do to the rubber loops, attached. But there is nothing under the seat of a Lupos what could hook this. Since then you have to improvise. So just hook hooked into each other! Keeps well and saves fumbling under the seat.
The headrest covers ... well, who are just simply ... But I have to note here that the remuneration rather have an angular shape. The headrests of the Lupo are rather round, which is why they do not sit quite as perfect ... But I think for most headrest types likely they fit exactly. To attach the headrest again, you must now cut holes in the backrest covers. It's a pity, "damage" the new remuneration equal to, but would the producer use the holes in advance, the distance would not fit to any car, because there are indeed different spans. The backrest covers have it but specifically a small strip of cloth between the front and back section, in which you can now accurately make the holes. For me nothing is torn or the like, worked great.
I then first pleased me the green sight that now prevailed in the front part of the car, before I got down to the rear seat.
First came my design with the tapes funny before. Because they should be threaded through them loops that run around the covers. Thus you should tighten them later. But first the covers had on the bench. For the Lupo, the entire rear seat cover is too large, since it is also compatible with three benches for seats. The sewn-in zippers can all quickly and zusammenzippen apart again, this time as a two-seater. The middle part I have cut out - it is completely connected with the elastics. Need to refer to the backseat, however, the whole stuff something and pull until it really fits. The Lupo-Bank is for just a little too small, but the excess material disappeared abruptly in the crack between backrest and seat cushion! The tapes were found to be surprisingly very simple design. If you have the references where you want them, you only have to firmly put on nand the ends knotted. And it sits all bombproof! For the headrest there is no extra time seam, but Plastikplöppel who are employed in the cut holes. So nothing can tear or fray.
All in all, I am more than satisfied. The overall picture of the interior is upgraded within an hour. The material and finally the "structure" have convinced me. However, I can imagine that it is not in any type of car is the same ... especially larger versions could get into trouble me. For a small Lupo all fits, however - almost - like a glove. One can not expect that everything is 100% fit perfectly when the covers for so many brands offered up. Owners of small cars but should strike immediately if interested;)
