For photos in a dark environment, for macro-photos and other tricky situations we have, inter alia, the Lumix LX5 Panasonic in use for this purpose, the A3300 is only very limited. And then only with tripod - succeed snapshots at concerts, then if, only with patience - time, which are not available has in a snapshot. But this was us already aware, but wanted to just try yourself.
Even videos can be filmed so. Our focus was and but lies primarily with the photo capabilities so that we did not test this issue conclusively.

The sensor is without error pixel and the display also. In the Canon S95 the quality Pixelfehler was concerning. Although the A3300 is not made for all light conditions, but can say that it is universal, even across all age groups away that also can not claim any digital camera itself.
