With this series, we rediscover the world of Mercy Thompson from another angle as with other characters.
We find Anna, a young wolf than three years after its transformation (not his real age) located in a pack which demeans and raped because she has the distinction of being an Omega (read the book and you will know that is).
And we travel with Charles, son of the Marrok and therefore the brother of Samuel who is the former Mercy ... If you no longer following is normal.
Charles is sent to solve problems in the pack of Anna but he and his wolves, fall in love with the young woman and her wolf.
What I really liked was finding the world of werewolves Patricia Briggs. She can describe it, she captivates us.
What I miss in this book is to know the past of Anna and especially the three years she spent in the pack during processing and all she lived. A small development on this part would have been more than welcome.
The price shocked me tremendously !! Milady publishes books of 600-800 pages 8-9 ... It is 130 pages and costs 6 ... it's still not cheap, even if it is a Patricia Briggs.
A very nice but quick tome and it must have the following on hand when we end this volume because we necessarily want to continue reading and find out more about Charles and Anna.
