Brian Eno and David Bowie together? It sounded like a dream come true. HOWEVER, this album is more like "a little of Bowie with Eno or a little of Eno with Bowie". It sounds very experimental. The first seven songs seem more like great ideas put into short versions of songs. HOWEVER, "Sound and Vision" is a classic, as is, "Be My Wife". The instrumental, "New Career In A New Town" is a marvelous song Especially well suited for his live shows. The second half of the album is where Eno comes in strong and it unfortunately darstellt Bowie weakest songs to date. From "Warszawa" to "Subterranean" Bowie / Eno bear down with boredom. They simply are not as layered as Eno is solo and the vocals seem forced and stretched. This experimental collaboration lasted for two more albums, but this costume change what mildly disappointing.
