I wanted to connect an external hard drive to the Kindle to stream over recorded movies. This works well when you install the app from the Google Play Goals. Download on the PC, rüberschieben on Kindle, allow the permissions to install apps from other sources app Download Folder Search --- carry and install. Setting hard drive on the PC, with Kindle WIFI connect --- About the app can be easily and smoothly stream the movies (mp4). Then you can, however, not over the Kindle to the Internet, the traverse-Fi on the hard drive does not work with me. Negative point there, because every few weeks to connect to the Kindle Fire has to be refurbished. The hard drive seems to forget the passwords. Then you have the current Berieb "pierce" the reset and set the hard drive again. (The data is not will be lost) In addition, I find it stupid that Amazon does not offer the app for it, but you have to go through the Google Store. Update as of 11/16/2014: In the meantime, I have another Kindle, because the old one was broken. I wanted to load the app again on the Google Play store and rüberschieben as above. Unfortunately, that is no longer !! Now You can see the apps in the Google store only on compatible devices to install. Routes I do not want my Kindle, because I will not be as well versed in Android subtleties. Why not you get the APP for the hard disk in the Amazon goals. Why will not Amazon that you can connect an external hard drive to the Kindle. Now both devices are clearly less valuable for me!
