The articulation of the old nozzle Hatt two separate joints: one directly to the nozzle (up / down) and one at the insertion tube to suction tube (rotatable about the axis). Thus, it could be also work well, but there was simply corners, in that did not come to clean it.
The "Twister" here has a kind of ball joint, which makes the die an incredibly flexible tool. In order really to get into every nook and cranny. And the joint is not higher than the old one, so you will still also fine on each cabinet (min. 8.5cm).
Since the nozzle has no rollers, to slide freely over the ground. In each direction. They can be much easier to pull along edges.
The brush ring brings the dust from every joint. Ideal for tiles and rough floors.
However, (loss of suction of the vacuum cleaner) the actual suction is not quite as big as the old die. The intake air is distributed over a larger area. This in turn has the advantage that you can suck on cable sometimes, without being immediately sucked into the pipe.
So far I am very satisfied with this nozzle. However, the duration of the test is still pending. Many here complain a relatively short life. The nozzle itself is simple constructed (Plastic Shell with bristle ring), but that actually double-jointed already seems to be well made. However, as a ball joint is significantly more contaminated than two separate joints like my old nozzle. Eternally it will probably not hold true.
As an alternative to Twister I had the simpler, smaller Miele Parquet Parquet SBB-3 looked at me with roles. However, seems to be the only to have a simple joint (rotation about the axis) and is therefore likely to be rather awkward. Secondly, the Twister was even offered a little cheaper. Since I have not tested this, I can not draw any comparison. I can only say that I am completely satisfied with my Twister.
