Accordingly, I was looking for a camera that is easy to use and delivers fast, good images. I have the Exilim now for a week and in different environments (dark rooms, outside in the sun, on cloudy days, moving "targets", portraits, macro) tested and am really beistert. The camera delivers sharp images in any situation with a very beautiful, natural colors ... and it is really fast (readiness, autofocus, flash recharging). Here are a few points:
Positives:
+ Extremely fast (standby after switching, auto focus, flash recharging)
+ Autofocus and anti-shake performance provide very good results => sharp images even with moving targets
+ Very beautiful, natural colors
+ BESTSHOT function (preset scenarios) are helpful for me as an amateur photo
+ Flash pictures are really amazingly good (good lighting)
+ 12 megapixels are genuine madness => image details can be extremely enlarged
+ Very handy, high-quality metal housing
+ Very large, easy to read display
Negatives:
- Manual (paper) is a little joke (10 pages => detail only as pdf?)
- 3X optical zoom (that's enough for most needs; sometimes it could also be something more)
- Somewhat cumbersome switching on the movie function (but which I shoot anyway to 95% and not movies)
- No optical viewfinder
Good to know:
- Invite only with docking station
- No bag included
- No SD card included
- JPEG image format single
You see, there are no professional criteria evaluated here. However, I did get a camera that "in between" really excited me as a layman for the quick photo. Therefore very clear 5 stars from me.
POSTSCRIPT: After some time but now that I call my own camera and many photos that I've done with it, is here a weakness to be supplemented: as with many of these compact cameras can the image quality decreases significantly after light! It is probably the small lens that too little light "passes". Pictures in the dark or dimly lit room are very noisy due to the high-twist ISO. Especially compared to my Lumix DMC FZ28 which are extremely Qualtitätsunterschiede here! Therefore, I have to deduct a minimum of 1 star!
