I previously had a similar power Xanlite for my kitchen. The ignition time (so that the bulb illuminates correctly) was very short: 2-3 seconds. With this model should be replaced by second minutes !! Note that at the time the seller of the Xanlite advised me to avoid the power on / off too often to have a proper life. Up to tell me to let light permanently (except at night, etc.). But I did not listen to this advice because I did not see much energy saving !!! I kept 6 years. And then I just change it (because HS) in this model (50% more expensive than Xanlite of the time), again for my kitchen. Given the ignition time I'll leave it on as necessary. Too bad for the ozone layer. Especially since I read that these bulbs which will become mandatory soon (more filament bulbs) contain very hazardous and expensive treatment of discharges of used bulbs. And not even completely recyclable. I think that our energy policies should be an engineering school rather than the ENA.
