1. Battery:
(!) Not to support No battery timings under Windows, the 311c, it seems. Only the% display.
The 6-cell battery has kept real 4.5 hours, while I have WiFi + BT started 25% screen brightness, and made the following actions:
Two Stromberg episodes looked (50min), surfed mainly websites and kinda played with Word. Let stand 30 minutes. Started 3-4 times again and I decided 7 to install, since the included WinXP is littered with crapware and I have no desire to clean for ages at 25% battery Windows.
After win7 installation -> 15% battery ... then all updates defrag, be carried out. played with energy options and settings until after about 4.5 hours of 311c went into hibernation.
Assessment: surfing in pure or read without WLAN / BT on the train, he grabs the loose + 5h brand.
2. Glossy display:
Genial, no comparison to my old netbook with 10.1 inches and matt.
3. Processing:
Very noble, keyboard + silver indoor cover made of metal. Free processing very well.
4. Touchpad:
Could have been "higher", and a bit laggy / inaccurate because there are better.
5. Fan
Compared to other loud. Runs constantly but is definitely in the acceptable range. Too bad, would have me as a larger and slowly rotating cooler desired.
Conclusion:
For the price you get a flat, and a really nice netbook with gaming capabilities, yet long term. The photos are the not design for the approach. Replacement batteries are in production and will be available soon.
!!! SUPPLEMENTARY !!!:
1. From the ION LE you can easily make an ION via software, are hardly any differences.
2. overclocking goes to 2.2GHz CPU (standard: 1.6 GHz) and the GPU at 550 (default: 450Mhz) is a union assigns Boost
3. Battery life after about 2 months, 4 to 4.5 hours (all on energy-saving modes)
