The box is made of a dark wood (not wood finish, solid) manufactured hinges stuck, the shutter closes just fine.
When closing a small offset is to be noted that box and lid close not fit flush, but that makes the charm of the crate.

For pane:
This gives a great insight into the interior and the label of the bottle. But the window is not closed by a transparent material (glass, Plexiglas), but open. The sake of completeness.

The bottle that I have packed herein, was a perfect fit. But since I can connect me only one of the speakers:
Take crate for shopping and "try on" the desired bottle.
