######## Lamp itself: ########
1) to dim light
The lamp is good really just to be seen. Is it on a dark, unlit path on the way, this lamp is not suitable, it illuminate adequately even in lighter mode. Even in absolute darkness is on the way to a just a weak beam to see. I used compared the Sigma LIGHTster - there literally were worlds apart.
2) light cone too tight
Apart from the insufficient light intensity also the shape of the light cone is unfavorable: He's too focused, too tight. By roughening the front window, I could not improve diversification. Again my comparison lamp (Sigma LIGHTster) waaaay better.
3) battery compartment screw thread is too loose
Then I go in part: even the front and the rear part (which are separated by the silver ring) have fallen apart because the screw is too loose, I have now rumgeklebt an adhesive tape. This now served its purpose, but this measure is not the point of it. Especially since you always must abfummeln the tape when changing the battery / batteries.
######## Mount: ########
To get 1) Hardly fixed
The holder is real crap. The only good thing about it is that you can replace the actual bulb and re-engage with a simple grip. They are not met otherwise their main purpose, namely to wear down the lamp. I tried to connect to optimize many times. Either it is too loose or turning the screw so far into the thread that the fixing lever no longer can be folded properly. Almost impossible. If you somehow get it once supposedly fixed, the lamp works guaranteed the next pothole or a short cobblestone crossing forward down.
2) user-unfriendly
Besides the fact that the holder does not fulfill its main task, namely to keep, it is also really user-unfriendly. The screw mechanism, with which it is mounted on the handlebars is ill-conceived. The thread is long, thus screwing long. Does not fit you, the screw falls all the way down. The back and unscrewing is thus quite a fumbling. Here one would have worked better with a user-friendly engagement / ratchet function (such as in the Sigma LIGHTster).
Conclusion: Although the lamp goes theoretically, I'm going to buy me another. I will not fret over this crap me.
