The manual is the bomb! A5 format with font size 3-4. Older semester, please keep Lupe ready!
Furthermore, absolutely no explanation of what the individual settings of the TV's actually cause.
When I use the DNR function calls in the setup and see that I have 3 settings to choose from here, then I expect but that is described in the manual, what DNR means (namely Digital Noise Reduction) and what causes it - and not that in the manual is what I see on the menu anyway - namely, that I have 3 settings for DNR.
The same applies to the Game Mode:
In TV menu: "On / Off"
In Manual: Turns the Games mode on or off. Huh?
What the games mode - no explanation!
Channel sorting / Blanking?
It is true that - but how, is not documented - so try is announced.
And so it goes on and on. Just a joke, considering that even the not so tech-savvy audience happy times buy a TV - but then please do this.

Toshiba advertises the TV to a (purchasing decision for me) media player function for playing video files. This can also be the TV - satisfactory but only after a firmware update, for which at least basic computer skills are essential. Described is the manual - as might be expected - of course not. Thus, well, anyone who does not know the relationships when playing videos, assume that the device is defective.
Had the firmware as delivered Version 0.4 - the latest firmware is 1.x. I bought the machine 2 days ago!
Since the update logically again lost all previous settings, then everything goes all over again going: Search channels, sort channels, adjust picture Setting the sound - all in all 2-3h pastime.
After the update the playback works but then at least since about the update presumably also the video codecs to be brought up to date.
So who intends to watch videos, the update should do the first thing.
Conclusion:
Who a bit familiar with technology and the use of the offered functionality may forego a manual, receives a TV with decent picture and sound for a small price. All other: Look at the device of your choice in advance on the website of the manufacturer's manual.
Usually, the documentary will be available for download - just again not for this model.
Poor performance, Toshiba.
2 stars only because of the documentation and the necessary updates immediately after purchase. Technically unbegabtere people will not cope without help - and when a TV technician is necessary to adjust, the price advantage to go there
