5 stars are so loosely earned, because one can easily spend 10 times for a heart rate monitor.
Nevertheless, caution ... because there is not exactly a small software errors in this clock.
So I trained relatively intense and there was the following: From the "results-function" of the clock I could see: I ran 1:04:11, while consuming 1230 calories and have a whopping 159 grams of fat lost. Bell's ... ???
One gram of fat has about 9.2 Kcal. Let's say 9 Kcal. So 159 grams mean alone is 1431 calories. So I have already burns more calories than a whole indicated by fat?!?
This is a thick error. Even if it were only 8 kcal per gram of fat, that would be even more than my total energy consumption.
So much for the miscalculation.
But it goes even further: Who is running so high intensity, the known consumes hardly any fat - at least seen a pro rata basis (more than 1000 Kcal per hour.). Thus, even if only 7.7 grams of fat per Kcal. would expect, so the amount of fat coincides with the calories, the value would be completely wrong, because one has mainly consumed carbohydrates.
I will therefore advise against the clock? No way, this thing is great. But Think about how much you get offered already for few euros ... and leave you just not on the results, which indicates you the clock for calories, fat burning, etc..
This is also not important. A heart rate monitor to display the pulse ... and report if you do not comply with the upper or lower limit. And that makes the clock outstanding. If you want more, but just have to pay more.
