The plot is full of bizarre twists and grotesque situations, but their is a simple, though effective human image based on: There is the stupid sheep who believe in good and evil, to television, the marriage and the principle of guilt and punishment. And there are the wolves that are out of order and accept no rules. Policewoman Molly Solverson is representative of the sheep and bring the superior, cynically intelligent predator, presented fascinating by Billy Bob Thornton, who alternates seamlessly between philosophically tinged Charming Boy and cold killer, at the end with persistence to track. With realism that has nothing to do; who expects stringent policing and logically comprehensible plot development, the hair should wrestle. But as evocative parable about good and evil work the series and draws the audience into the spell. Although they do not come close to the density of the movie, but can coexist with him. Anyone who loves the film, is reflected in the ten episodes of the first season much of the atmosphere of the precursor, and that alone is worth watching.
