The Xperia mini is my first Android phone, I stumbled through a mini c't article about cheap Android smartphones on the. I regard as a very great advantage that it is very light and compact. The disadvantages associated with it (more zoom, etc,) but go on cost grounds in order. Actually, one can only say: the Xperia mini is fast, the display is excellent and bright, Sony Android UI I find practical, voice quality is good. Typing in portrait and landscape orientations are quite possible in spite of the small display. The battery life is due to the small batteries underwhelming, I come with normal use with surfing while driving to and from work, calling something and listen to music on 2-3 days, but the phone is switched off at night. The automatic dimming of the display brightness is then very conspicuous when the lower luminance levels are controlled, since because the jumps very clearly visible in the bright settings the whole is indeed solved perceptible but quite reasonable.
Overall I am very satisfied with the Xperia mini, no stability problems, sufficient power, who seeks a compact phone can access.
