Fast boats, slow work

Unfortunately, the product for me is not to be used as. After installing the disk in my upgraded desktop system (i5 quad-core processor, 8GB of DDR3 RAM) I hoped through the use of the SSD drive a really fast system.

The SSD was used by me as a system disk. I had Windows 7 Professional installed and was indeed impressed by the speed of installation and booting. A freshly installed system booted in about 38 seconds. The read and write rates of about 250 MB / s were very good.

After installing additional software, the system but was gradually inoperable. Every 10 seconds, the mouse was hanging around for a second. So I could not work and I started pounding troubleshooting. I suddenly auswechselte be designed components motherboard, memory, processor and hard drive, this more than difficult. Also analysis software such as Everest and SiSoft Sandra brought no indication that the hard drive is the real evil.

After reading some reviews from owners, which also found a "stutter" and "hang", I was then quite quickly clear where the mistake did. So I built to test again the "old" (magnetic) hard disk and installed as the operating system and complete my software. And lo and behold: It now everything works fine.

I noticed especially that many parallel write and read operations of the PC just go. Even surfing was not a pleasure. Here stood in Chrome frequently down in the status bar "Waiting for cache". Again, it seemed then to give reading problems.

Thus, I can the product - at least with Windows 7 Professional 64 bit - not recommended.
