The following values were measured under a Windows 7x64 system and Kingston card reader (USB 2.0):
Write rate: 16.4 MB / s
Read rate: 18.2 MB / s
H2testw v1.4
When copying my old 8GB class 4 microSD to the new Class 10 card showed Windows 7x64 also maximum write speeds of 16.5 MB / s.
The R / W speed thus exceeds the class-10-minimum requirements substantially, but does not reach the printed on the packaging of Samsung values of 24MB / s Read and 21MB / s write.
The figure at Amazon does not match the appearance of the product. Came an original packaging, black microSDHC with Adapter. Apparently Samsung has changed the look of the map. Advertising for the Samsung card in stylish silver, comes a black microSDHC. But since you already do not get the storage medium to face if it does its job, which is actually not a problem.
Use finds the map in a Samsung Galaxy S2. It runs smoothly and there also much faster than the previously used there 8GB Class-4 card (W: 6.4 MB / s, R: 12.5 MB / s). The access times to the Pictures folder, and launch data-heavy apps on the external microSDHC have significantly minimized. Probably play here but also better access times a role, because the cards do not differ extremely in the reading rate.
With the new SD card, the Antutu benchmark result of my SGS2 improved from 5960 to 6050 points, due to the significantly improved SD card results (again, a write value of 16.5 MB / S).
The app SD tools directly measures the SGS2 following values:
Write: 15.2 MB / s
Read: 17.5 MB / s
