I had bought a new computer (Win 7) with pre-installation of Office. As the trial subscription / pre-installation after 60 days expired, I had to decide what I needed as a full version. It came Box versions of MS Office 2007 or 2010 (very expensive) or just the Microsoft Office Home 2010 Product Key Card in question. The latter is to get the cheapest version of Office 2010, unless you want to equip a total of 3 computers with Office. Since I only have one computer, the choice was not difficult. Two days after ordering the product key card was in the mailbox. I had to Office 2010 from Microsoft Download (there with me only Office was installed on the computer 2007), but it was very easy. Then I was able to enter the product key and you're done!
The only thing I wonder is why Microsoft does not sell directly to the product key, for example via e-mail. Then you could save the 1-2 days delivery time and get started!
