Have the Tamron with the Sony 18-135 with respect compared to the edge sharpness (in Aperture 7.1 and 8.0) in the focal length range 50 - 135mm and it can not keep up with this, as far as the edge sharpness. In the middle almost equal to this is on the edge, ie the corners no longer the case. That made me but then surprised since it has performed against the "Phototest" _Magazin this respect better than this. Conjectures are now: either I caught a faint copy or Sony has failed above average. Or the Tamron is better suited for Canon used in fototest.de, or .... can only speculate and therefore send it back ...
