Female character very different from the usual urban-heroines in fantasy, it is not no dummy size it has a good 42, her frame with a reality of a young mother, she is neither beautiful nor ugly it tends to let live. When she does not share custody with her ex-husband, she redoubled intentions towards the homeless, it seems to be attached to the well-being of people suffering around him. She needs to help others to fill the void that lives until the day everything changes, where everything makes sense.
The prose is poetic and rather soft, it follows his questioning and especially his unconditional love for his son. The latter does not take place either at the expense of the action and of the universe. The narrative is divided between his newspaper or his view, this is in addition to the narrative of the other actors to complement and explain the complex situation of the young woman. The universe created by MJRomaley rather grandiose, history of Angels & Demons change what we read and installs throughout the growing narrative suspense. We doubt many things thanks also to the stories of other characters, but there are still some parts that require answers. Special mention to passages Patte Blanche (the cat lying around in the neighborhood, one wonders if it is not a bit special, a kind of 'companion') and above all, my bad side love couple nasty!
Romance on it is a bit too fast for my taste. I know, I know, you girls you like it! I would have preferred a little more resistance ... yes more! Something that would grow with volumes. This is because some will in the category 'paranormal romance' while personally I put it without problem in urban fantasy / bit bed because even if you took away the romance, there would be everything else: a true story a universe worked, and endearing characters and a variety of extra feather!
I'm waiting to read more because what MJ created Romaley is to die, I loved the passages dreams first thing in the novel (I even regretted that there were none for and after). I enjoyed it as much as the passages on myths and prophecies from other spice up the situation. She managed to recreate with great detail the places and characters which helps the impregnation of history despite the melancholy of the young femme.J'ai forward to continuing the adventure with confirming volume 2, j ' am sure, a great saga.
