The adapter is solid processed - both the lens with M42 keeps well and the adapter itself (here tested with Sony A7II) on the camera.

However, the adapter with a SMC Takumar is 50mm 1.4 compatible. While this has a M42 connector, but unfortunately makes the adapter aperture pin on the lower side of the lens. Since I first did not know that I have blind screwed the lens and unfortunately therefore bent the pin. Now it is no longer possible for me to adjust the aperture.
