The presentation is high-end in a black box with a picture of the speaker and red logo and accents.
Open the drawer and the speaker is protected in a foam ring. Among them are the two cables, a Micro-USB charging cable and a 3.5mm to Micro-USB audio guide. A well-written manual is included.
If you lift the speaker feel how is well done. It has a calming weight, made of metal with a central rubber ring on which controls are mounted.
Behind a door there is a microUSB port and a micro SD card (TF) slot for music playback.
A full charge took 2.5 hours after I connected the speaker on the audio guide. Voice guidance to the various operating modes available.
The sound immediately impressed me with amazing bass for the size. It's hard to believe that such a rich sound will come from such a compact device. Mid and Treble are also excellent.
"The Girl from Ipanema" by Astrud Gilberto sounded great. The character of the vocals was well preserved, Stan Getz had bite sensational saxophone solo and projection and the guitar and rhythm provided a perfect backdrop.
The powerful drumbeats in Richard Burmer the "History of the Rain" had amazing power. Hold the speaker in his hand, I could really feel the power! The atmospheric synth washes were very well reproduced.
Bluetooth pairing was easy on my smartphone and Bluetooth transmitter. The sound quality was excellent and the range was between very good more than 15 m and even through walls.
Micro SD playback sounded great. Quality was wired the same. "Abacus Moon" by Don Harriss had good rhythm and a lot of influence.
This is a wonderful speaker. I can not recommend it enough! Well done Polaris!
