Admittedly, their debut album "Come Away With Me" was with me again in fairly short intervals and over again - be it at home or even always happy in the car. After such a "Hammer" album, as it was often propagated everywhere, prevailed with me but rather the skepticism about the successor. That I would finally buy me (or even pre-order), no question. Finally Norah Jones is still a glimmer of hope from the present otherwise shallow and plain-colored music business. The first hearing of their new album "Feels Like Home" was actually as expected: a little disappointing. She was different from the Norah Jones that you nor knew of "Come Away With Me". Sure, she has moved on - as a musician but also as a (still quite young) man. And so the more the initial disillusionment on the stylistic changes on the new album quickly a soothing, new musical experience. She has demonstrated the courage to bridge the gap for country music, which is one or the other listeners certainly not satisfied. Honestly, I'm really not fond of the genre, but it just fits to Norah Jones and it fits in any case for the musical atmosphere of the new album. And so arises later than the end of a little more than 45 minutes of this well-known sense of inward satisfaction one that already "Come Away With Me" evoked in inclined listeners. "Feels like Norah" halt ... Life brings constant changes, why not the music? This CD is certainly the case my recommendation! By the way: Who even wants to discover a different side of Norah Jones, was the disc "New York City" from The Peter Malick Group feat. Norah Jones warmly recommended.
