I have let myself be guided by the very positive reviews and have ordered the sun visor for my new Canon 700D.

That the sun visor replaces the original, but I can not talk, because without having had the original sun visor in your hand, this could be better secured with safety as the Profon bezel. Of course it may be that I have now received a sunday model without locking possibility, at least lets the patch panel turn without resistance and therefore threatens to fall with every movement.
