This board is such a case, in the negative. It has a large ironing surface and the holder of the ironing system is large enough for a Tefal Ironing Station. This ends the positives.
In the category of the steam ironing board fails unfortunately completely. Before long it drips massively. No wonder, because under the thin cover is a metal grid structure on which the vapor condenses.
Since I have neither time nor inclination to return the thing, we tried to "cure" through additional remuneration to. First, a non-woven of Vileda (110501 Vileda Viva Selection headband cushion 140 x 45 cm, can be cut), which has hardly brought anything. Then "STAR 8012 127x45cm Ironing Board Cover Alu 1621E", which was successful, now it barely drips and only after much ironing. The latter had to trim it, fortunately, the original terms of Philips was so far that both expedients fit underneath.
But this "feat of engineering" should have been provided by Philips. I care a receiving pad of the grid structure. I wonder if there someone is testing its products extensively? Well, maybe read the customer service at least the reviews here. Would be a shame if a brand name would be damaged by such lousy products.
Since the board is explicitly advertised for steam ironing systems, only one point. The other gimmicks will not help there. At school we would say "Wrong topic - set six".
