I have this lamp times against the H4 headlights of my car tested: The illuminations in the near and medium range are clearly the car (2 headlamps / high beam) higher, however, the range of the Fenix was (angle of approximately 80 degrees) to some more.
The workmanship is as usual very good Fenix and the price remains within the limits. The cooling fins are cut clean, perfectly fitted the knobs and the threads run as smooth as silk. The lamp head is slightly warm in turbo mode, but all in reasonable range.
I have to take this lamp for the cheaper, unprotected batteries (NCR18650B_X2 Li-Ion) decided also for cost reasons. But the TC 75 has a low voltage warning function to alert users to replace the batteries and a reverse voltage protection protects against incorrect insertion of batteries. In addition I have added myself even a decent charger (ThruNite universal charger for 4 batteries).
But you should always use 4 identical batteries for safety reasons, recharge the same time and replace unused by 4 new batteries of the same Typ`s!
Those who enjoy really bright flashlight, or it needs for extreme applications, the TK 75 calms buy and receive a really great flashlight !!
