The writing of David Vann is a reflection of its history, stuffy, made of ultra-short sentences. Oppressive atmosphere, hardly sustainable as some scenes flirt with barbarism!
"Mountain Goat" is in my opinion the level of his brilliant first novel "Sukkwan Island". To be, is full I can only advise you to read the heels "Last Day on Earth" Vann story just published in Gallmeister. David Vann story in which delves into the life of a killer to light his past, absolutely exciting!
