"Fighting the Wolrd" is quite controversial among Manowar fans. Outsiders may strike anything, but who understands a bit of Manowar will notice that this album chart-oriented and "mass appeal" has been made than ever. Thankfully, this venture is well succeeded It begins with the same song. "Fighting The World" is the chorus-related than any Manowarsong before. He goes very quickly into his ear and is likely to also initially find as catchy, but after some time you notice the monotony of the song, and he is actually in terms of the other songs do nothing special. "Blow your Speakers" is an average song of somehow touching distance of the Hard Rock border. The next song, "Carry On", are the ghosts. Many like it because it "Fighting the World" has such a good chorus. However, he is quite trendy and belonged to the standard repertoire of a normal rock party in the 80s. "Violence and Bloodshed" is a distinctive and good song. "Defender" is a slow song of "finally" back "from the Middle Ages" comes. However, for many it's too corny. The Tracks 6 to 8 can be really summed up as a song as "Drums of Doom" and "Master of Revenge" only home or outros for "Holy War" are. This is in my opinion the best song. Good rhythm and great chorus, not too Chart Suitable as some other songs on the album. Confusingly the only one as I have said was the home and Outtro its own track. The album is completed with "Black Wind, Fire and Steel". This song is revered by many Manowar fans, blows me personally but not necessarily socks off. All in all, I forgive "Fighting The World" 4 stars
