The Special Air Service conducted particularly dangerous missions during the Second World War, but military historians often fail to mention. This book finally fix this injustice and to great effect. Christophe Prime, to whom we owe already a beautiful study of the Battle of Omaha, we did this time relive the incredible story of these brave fighters of Libya to the heart of Germany. The sections on Italy and the liberation of France are very interesting. The book, well written, is very pleasant to read. The narrative is panting (I've eaten in a few days). We follow not to the men in their missions. A good time reading and history. A reference book that I highly recommend.
