At first I was skeptical whether the shelf would be really rust, because I've already tried a few telescopic shelves and made no good experiences. I live for over 5 years in a rented apartment where I have to rely on such a "bohrfreies" shelf to stop rational various utensils in the shower. In these 5 years I had forcibly tried various telescope racks, because none really long held: The plastic was not only ugly and looked quickly from filthy, but were also quite shaky. Chromed rusting with me a few months and then I had one of somehow coated metal materials, which then after a few months, at least in the crevices between the individual bars (where no coating was) rust could be seen. These shelves were all quite fast unsightly - and after one year it was the sight of suffering ... or the part broke anyway collapsed. So I have got min. Every year bought a new shelf. All these "disabled shelves were incidentally in the price range of about 20-30.
After I threw the fifth or even sixth shelf already in the trash, I decided to finally grab times to a more expensive version made of stainless steel. Steel rusts we all know, not - so had a bathroom shelf made of this material indeed endure what.
The price is good with 60 Although quite high - but if it min. 2-3 years holds then pays it itself compared to my annual purchase of a cheap-shelf.
And I am optimistic that it will withstand 2-3 years. The shelf provides not only high quality, but rather keeps previously also delivers what it promises. It is now for almost a year in my shower and I see no rust, no discoloration, not even lime has been deposited on it - well, we have even soft water, but what I'm getting: The Regal still looks like the first Tagund even though I really not even brush it. Is dust etc. off, then I shower with the shower over it briefly - and you're done. It is also very easy to maintain ;-)
Other pluses collects this shelf with its deep baskets. It easily also big bottles hold and not tip out. On the top shelf, I even 2 fairly high decorative vases stand .... even those are not yet fallen. Also a great thing, the holder for razor, because there one has else like the problem is that they tumble in open shelves by the grid and with closed shelves ... well ... that collects content of the hairy dirt. Here they have their place but where they hang clean and safe and are always within reach. Then there is the "Towel Holder". I use not as such, because the shelf is with me in the middle of the shower and towels may seem logical to get wet there - but you can there (just like the razor-holders) hang all sorts of other things. So I have the towel-holder misused as shower wiper holder ... that goes.
The structure was actually easy 10-15 minutes and that thing is. So far, also had no of the few tiny screws are nachgezogenn - it is rock solid in its place.
Real drawbacks I find not only the color of the "rubber feet", which are tuned to the bar top and bottom in order to spare the floor and ceiling, I do not like. The rubber is black ... could also have been making color matching stainless steel ... But that's really a teeny gripe un worth no penalty. The value I find therefore absolutely top and forgive 5 stars & a strong buy recommendation: This shelf is suitable for all those who need in your bathroom a practical and truly stainless shelf (without drilling) - and want to have a long pleasure.
