have bought some time ago a low-cost repeater and was doing the same to remind the saying:
"Whoever buys cheap, buys twice"
The determined does not happen at this Repeater!
The connection to the home network is not a problem thanks to WPS.
My router sits on the 1st floor of the stairwell and thanks to the Fritz! Repeater
I have downstairs full signal strength.
