After I had already several models from different manufacturers, I once tried this, something expensive model. The test shows again that we in some ways but needs something to fall deeper into their pockets to get a functioning, good device. Optics is super, and the arrangement with the three connectors at the back and 4 above is handy as you can so devices that connect always tuned or greater (disks that are on the ground, ...) can connect without you see must. Although the trick with the portable hub is intended practically, but I've never used it. Only that one can see dust very quickly and then it looks extremely dirty, is a small disadvantage. It also happens sometimes that I plug in a device or drive and the PC recognizes nothing. Only after some wobbling on the hub or re-training and insertion of sticks or the entire stroke solve the problem. However, I know the latter, which is often extremely disruptive, not 100% whether it is on the device or on my computer.
In summary, I would recommend the stroke, because you get something decent for the money.
