My old screen operated for 12 years (!) And it was a iiyama! I naturally stayed with this manufacturer, the new AVMA slabs seemed full of qualities for the photo, I confirm: it works! The contrast is powerful without being exacerbated, quite comparable to a good CRT, even without activating the ACR. The auto settings in VGA mode for geometry are quickly falling and just worry, I have nothing to install on Vista, plug'n'play. After some trial and error adjustments, I do not use ACR or Overdrive, I adjusted the colors like this: R 76, V 95, B100, Lum 32, Ctr 66 on the monitor, and gamma to 0.95 on the graphics card, the result seems perfectly neutral on the whole range of gray and color. Colors are faithful, properly saturated without appearing "Disneyland". The contrasts and colors are really well suited to the picture, I am very happy with my purchase, it is far from LCD there some years ago. I am not a gamer, just tried a few videos, no lag effect, no lagging, or ghost ... it seems smooth and fast, no comment. At readability, texts are very fine and precise, almost too much, I put the smoothing setting on 4/5. Difficult to fault, I like even semi-matte finish on top, brushed to the bottom line. I could say that the foot is not adjustable for height, and the control keys are "plop", but once settled it is left over for long. Overall a quality / dream price.
