This is the solution: A travel kettle that heats the water in plastic but not fully in stainless steel. Keep it clean! On the product photos, the device looks kind of big. It's really only for 1/2 liter of water - just 2 cups - designed. Heating goes very quickly due to high wattage. A bit of getting used to the cup coffee mug in black. But very stable. Total purchase recommendation!
