Since the end of the saga Harry Potter, no more book fascinated me to the point of devouring it in a few days. And cinema, I saw a trailer that caught my attention: Divergent. I went to see the film - I loved it. Then I discovered it was from a book, the better of a trilogy. So I ordered this book ... in English (like HP) ... and have devoured in less than a week! More TV in the evening it's non-stop playback during 3-4 hours at a time, no doubt I'm addicted! The story is exciting, haunting, mysteries that are made me cogitate it all day every day. I developed a lot of theories, analysis. I was fascinated by this new concept of society even though I wondered how we could really have a majority of beings "pigeonholed" in one faction (the answer to that comes in Volume 3). A true analysis found there about human nature, his qualities, his defects. This edition of "Divergent" is also equipped with very valuable bonuses, starting with the obvious factions which I find very fair and give to meditate. We quickly took a liking to Tris, the narrator and heroine of the story. One discovers the plot and feels through it. We live with it his uncertainties and his quest for identity. Then Four meeting enigmatic but so charismatic. He returned quickly in the heart of the story and its relationship "magnetic" Tris quickly becomes addictive. The author has given to all his characters, leading as secondary, a real personality, a past, a point of view on events or even motivations. It attaches easily to most of them and this is probably one of the reasons why we let so easily absorbed by all this universe. After finishing this first volume, and is not able to receive the second time to chain, I could not do anything other than to read this book again. At first I thought I would read the passages that I preferred but soon I found myself rereading everything without exception!
