Having had unfortunately adopted 300-II the right headphones with my 3 year old Sennheiser CX, I had briefly attempts the Philips SHE-9000 (see also my recession there), which unfortunately turned out to be a flop. That's why I counted the days until finally the official successor, the Sennheiser CX 3:00, was supplied by Amazon ... and I was not disappointed: the sound is again awarded in the basses, but also middle and treble are very good and kackig reproduced. So in direct comparison to the SHE-9000 he won the Sound forth by a mile! The fit of the in-ears is excellent and during extended use there is no unpleasant feeling of pressure. The new elliptical cable prevents knotting very effectively and so I am actually completely satisfied. Price-performance standard can be done with the CX 3:00 really nothing wrong. A small downside to the conclusion: the headphone cable are now symmetrically - me were the old asymmetric the CX 300-II slightly better because the cable laid behind the neck, a better "house" had.
