The glass jar was particularly important for me, even if the super expensive "Blender" all one "plastic container" who, although BPA-free, but if you listen again (Just came today on the radio) that the EU food Office the limit for BPA has lowered, which will indeed have his reasons and I find myself confirmed with glass jug in my decision for the WMF-blender.
