So far I have always believed, Mark Knopfler would be a musician. After listening to the Tracker I must, however, change my mind. Great texts without question, but so typical Mark Knopfler guitar is rarely present. The piece Beryl was recognizable on the radio immediately Knopfler as a new Mark title, a real goosebumps piece that is reminiscent of old Dire Straits Title. Everything else just suitable for background music at skat. Even Chris Rea and Bob Dylan had undergone this mutation, but then yet again reminded of the old music known. The 14 pieces on the Delux version also stands out for its famous guitar, completely incomprehensible why this piece is only available as a bonus track, it would have immediately heard on the original CD. I any case keep the CD just because Beryl and will buy more CDs of Mark Knopfler only after consultation. When does Mark finally have film music, I have all the CDs. Incomparable the Oscar nominated music to The Princess Bride. Where's a piece of goose bumps like Brothers in Arms? Gladly I would also once again hear a piece like On Every Street, half sung and then the incomparable instrumental music changing. Too bad.
