This did not change: a handle with his model specific to the brand brush (same for competition), a base to recharge the brush. A built-in timer will "beep" every 30 seconds.
What changed: here the handle grip is excellent. It does not slip when wet. The brush stops by itself after 2 minutes. The brush holds very well stand alone because of the broad base. The cap allows air to finish the brush drying up.
The sensation not unpleasant. Surprising at first (even if I do not go to dentists, I thought of them at first use). In some comments, some people find unpleasant brush because it would transmit the vibrations to the jaw. Personally it's not my case. I avoid touching the teeth with anything other than the bristles of the brush, otherwise, yes, it's unpleasant. But it manages to perfectly brush into every corner without suffering this kind of thing. So if one does not have his body traction problem in space, we brush our teeth without having the effect "dentist's drill." And it is rather pleasant.
Efficiency: I think so. More than competitive products that have a lower frequency vibrations. Hoping that the brush does not shoeless teeth either ;-) Just kidding, there is little risk if only the bristles of the brush are in contact with the teeth.
Another benefit: the brush size is very small, more than other models. You'll still toothpaste economy!
I have not tested the battery life, I have the bad habit to rest the brush on its base ...
I liked: a removable battery, once it does hold a charge, instead of having to throw the handle (same for all similar products!!!)
A travel case, because if the brush fires alone in your luggage, we will look at you with a knowing smile.
A version with AA battery?
In conclusion; I adore. Shame not to leave with the weekend. A start / stop different would have to overcome a transport box. Efficiency appointment. The price of brushes rotate at Philips around 20-25 4. To see the term to use, as are the consumable market.
