But I want to preface that I have the camera only briefly and did about 500 shots, so why not have the ability to make a far-reaching description.
I work according to the principle: If everything is already beginning to work positively or what is expected even exceeds, it is not entirely absent far.
I treated myself to the camera as a successor for my Alpha 700. In my view, this Sony even more intuitive to use than just the 700. I am extremely pleased with the viewfinder, which more than met my Erwartunge. I also appreciate very much that the Live View can be folded backwards. Since I rarely use this, it remains protected and with sufficient a "cheap" protector.
I have just ordered my camera and neglected, and the 16-50 lens by Sony to order together as a kit. So low will not get you the benefit of both pieces.
Positive in the camera is handling for me, it's not necessarily a vertical grip required. Of the automatic settings, I am again fared somewhat because the semi automatics through the electronic viewfinder is now an idea of how the "photographed" then also looks good.
Extremely helpful is the function of color highlighting in manual focus, for age-sehgeschwächte as for me a clear advantage.
The video function I use currently little, a first attempt, however, is satisfactory.
to my lenses used:
As the objective I have, as mentioned, then separately nor the 16-50 of Sony (2.8) ordered. The photographs with this lens are fantastic, as just described in the recessions of the lens.
I use my lens SIGMA 18-250 HSM of my predecessors camera Alpha 700 and have the impression that this lens brings significantly crisper pictures at the new '77.
Furthermore, I have from the analog days with the Minolta 7 still a Tamron Macro 90mm (1.8). This old pipe is anyway the hammer and it works perfectly with the 77er together
After some rummaging inmeinem lens inventory I am still met with a Sigma 28-105 Aspherical IF and tried it on the '77. This old look from the 90s for analog SLR Minolta has then surprised me definitively positive. It stands out sharply to the corner - so old lenses do not sell immediately, try only. Must be (should be noted that the shoe mount flash with this lens is not always compatible.
With the zoom lenses but can also be used very well with the 16-50er lens digital zoom factor of up to 2.0. I have tested with the Sigma 18-250er the Zoom function 2x and achieved excellent results. (Here, the resolution is reduced, however, then to 5 MP)
Conclusion:
I have the "purchase" of '77 no case ready. The battery performance is okay, the battery of the 700 can be used.
All in all, it is easier and more intuitive to use. The price is not cheap, but the price Leistungsverhätlnis true for me in any case.
