I can so not at all confirm the grounds adduced by critics defects in image quality.
It emerged beautiful, crisp pictures of a pet, even when zooming and captured in the movement ... in which each spring is individually recognizable !! Natural colors, as well as the eye perceives!
I do not know whether is here perhaps criticized at the highest level ... and I do not know the TZ10, but I myself was thrilled already in the first test recordings in the IA mode!
And there's plenty to try, the camera can do much more!
Maybe there was sometimes the finger near the highly sensitive sensor?
Only then the images are in fact slightly blurred and lighter!
Hands off of the camera and briefly give time to "focus position" in the IA mode and there are very, very great pictures!
